A big congratulations to those leading businesses in the region who attended the ‘Smile Whitsundays’ customer service training last week. Customer Service is the number one factor we can control in this challenging economic climate as we aim to provide the BEST tourist experience in Australia. So a big pat on the back to those business owners who prioritise staff training and a customer service culture. Thanks also to Storkeys’ Team for offering the training at no charge – look out for future sessions being developed specifically for front line staff, management and also retail staff. An interesting article in the Sydney Morning Herald deliberates on the reasons domestic tourism is suffering a decline and customer service is one of those factors.
